At Happy Planter Shop, we want you to be completely happy with your new green companions. However, we understand that sometimes a plant might not thrive as expected, or perhaps you’ve changed your gardening plans. Our returns and exchanges policy is designed with both your satisfaction and plant health in mind.
Return & Exchange Timeframe
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. Please contact us promptly if you wish to return or exchange an item.
Non-Returnable Items
To ensure the health and safety of our plants, we cannot accept returns on the following items:
- Custom or special order plants (as indicated on product pages)
- Plants that have been planted or repotted since delivery
- Plants showing signs of disease or pest infestation that weren’t present at delivery
- Perishable gardening supplies (such as opened fertilizers or soils)
Return Conditions
To be eligible for return or exchange:
- Plants must be in their original container with soil intact
- All plant tags and identification must remain attached
- The plant should be in resalable condition
- Original proof of purchase is required
Return Process
- Contact Us: Email us at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order with your return/exchange request. Use the template below to ensure we have all necessary information.
- Wait for Approval: We will respond within 2 business days with a return authorization number and instructions.
- Package Securely: Repackage the plant(s) using the original packaging if possible, ensuring the plant is protected during transit.
- Ship Back: Send the package to:

Please include the return authorization number on the package. - Processing: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund or exchange within 5 business days.
Refund Information
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days after we receive and process your return. Please note:
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- Exchanges will be shipped once the return is processed, with no additional shipping charge if the exchange is of equal or greater value
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your plants arrive damaged or you received incorrect items, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damaged items or incorrect products. We will arrange for replacement or refund without requiring you to return the items.
